Hi, I'm Kendra.
I've spent about a decade designing in-house, most of it at Inuvo on AI-powered audience and analytics products, with earlier work for Verizon. Along the way I started Very Swell, my brand and web studio, so I know what it takes to own a project from the first messy conversation to launch day.
I don't stop at the mockup. I make sure what I design is clear enough to build, and I'm comfortable with code and AI tools, so I can prototype an interaction and show a developer exactly what I mean instead of describing it.
Away from the screen, I'm a mom of four, and my husband coaches high school football, so our calendar is loud and our house is louder. There are usually a few drinks on my desk at once, because I forget about the first one. My design process runs on snacks, and I'd say that's the most honest line on this page.

Where I've worked
I led UX, UI, and visual design for Inuvo's AI-powered advertising platform, turning complex software, data, and AI-generated insights into clear interfaces and design systems that held up across a growing set of products.
My independent brand and web studio. I run projects from strategy and creative exploration through launch: visual identities, brand systems, and custom websites.
I designed and built corporate, marketing, and product websites, including custom WordPress sites, working with marketing, product, and IT to take ideas from first sketch to launch.
I evolved the company's digital brand through its corporate website, built in WordPress, and the campaign and marketing materials around it.
I designed digital experiences and campaign creative across Verizon's B2B and B2C businesses, including device launches and national initiatives where I was the lead designer.
